Time to Return Books to the Library!

As we approach the end of the school year, we are beginning to wrap up library activities and prepare our collection for the summer. We kindly ask for your help in ensuring that all library books are returned on time.

Important Dates:

• Friday, May 8 ~ Last day to check out books

• Friday, May 15 ~ All books must be returned

Some helpful places to check for library books include:

• Backpacks and school folders

• Bedrooms, especially under beds or on bookshelves

• Living rooms or family reading areas

• Cars or travel bags

• With siblings who may have borrowed the book

Grandparents….You’re Invited to our Generations Luncheon

Red Hill Cafeteria

Red Hill is thrilled to extend a special invitation for our Generations Luncheon as we celebrate Older Americans month. At Red Hill, we deeply value the wisdom, experience, and love that grandparents and older relatives bring into our students' lives. During this event, biological or “may as well be” grandparents, great aunts/uncles are invited to have lunch with their students. Attendees will be treated to one free lunch (with additional items available for purchase).  Their presence would mean the world to us, as we honor the special bond between generations and celebrate the invaluable contributions of older Americans.

Parents, please RSVP by May 1st  on behalf of your family members to ensure we can accommodate everyone comfortably. Send replies to cwillson@k12albemarle.org or call the office (434) 293-5332. Include the name(s) of elders attending and which lunch(es) they will attend.

En Red Hill, valoramos profundamente la sabiduría, la experiencia y el amor que los abuelos y parientes mayores aportan a la vida de nuestros estudiantes.
