Guidance for Parents of Students Receiving Dyslexia Services During An Extended School Closure


Overview:

To provide guidance and resources to parents that support specific skills needed for students with dyslexia.


Suggestions for working with Students at home:

  • Apply learning to reading and written text. Allow students to decode words with the skills they have learned.

  • Listen to audio books through Learning Ally, school and local libraries.

  • Dyslexia teachers will provide activities specific to student needs.
