Description
In partnership with the Department of Public Instruction, the CESA 7 Title I network provides technical assistance to Title 1 districts in meeting Title I requirements under ESSA.

Primary Products and Services
Consultation and assistance with the completion of Title I Grant
New Title I Coordinator orientation meeting including an overview of Title I law and regulations and suggested timeline for district activities
Two Title I Coordinator meetings addressing program designs, private schools, needs assessment, parent involvement, evaluation/local annual review, and other monitoring requirements
Technical assistance regarding Federal Identification and Support for Title I schools
Resources and updates with other agencies including the RtI Technical Assistance Center
Consultation and assistance with the writing of school-wide Title I plans and district LEA plans
Provide training for paraprofessionals to transition to Highly Qualified Status
Coordinating, communicating & collaborating with private schools and ombudsman (DPI)

Title I Coordinator Network meets two times per year to discuss current issues and changes regarding Title I
Priorities
Provide consultation and updates on Title I-Part A law under ESSA, programming, the Title IA application, reporting requirements and monitoring
Support districts and schools in maximizing the use of their Title I allocations to improve student achievement in reading and math
Provide professional development for Title I teachers/Resource teachers to design and implement high-quality instruction in Targeted Assistance and Schoolwide programs
Provide consultation on EOY Report
Provide consultation on ESSA Plan
