Restorative Practices
Description
Restorative Practice is a framework to build relationships in the classroom and school. It is inclusive of routines, safe spaces and learning. It is a framework for positive use of accountability, and it restores relationships where harm occurs. Restorative practice also decreases reactive practices, helping teachers to de-escalate situations and preserve relationships. Dr. Waldron-Kuhn is trained in the International Institute of Restorative Practices materials.
