Technical Assistance for Special Education
Description
The Pupil Services Membership activities and technical support is designed to improve outcomes for students with disabilities. These activities and technical support will improve school district compliance to IDEA requirements and are designed to close the achievement gap and graduation gap that exists between regular education students and those with disabilities.

Facilitate networking between District Directors /Coordinators of Special Education/Pupil Services
Professional development for special education and related services staff, regular education and administrative staff at reduced workshop fees
Onsite special education-related technical consultation for districts for new Directors
Equity Services
Technical support for addressing compliance issues relative to Pupil Non-Discrimination and completion of the §118.13 District Compliance Reports on Equity (previously provided by Equity membership)
Analysis of diversity/equity-related concerns arising from respective district’s educational achievement and school performance data
