Math Audits, Training and Support
Description
Math education has evolved to support students in becoming mathematically proficient, which is defined as conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, strategic competence, adaptive reasoning, and productive dispositions. These five strands of mathematical proficiency are interwoven in the Wisconsin Standards for Mathematics (2021). In order to meet our student, teacher, and school system needs, CESA 7 provides a number of services which enable districts to determine the status of their K-12 mathematics program, develop strategic plans to foster equitable K-12 mathematics systems, and support educators in furthering their capacity to implement research based instructional practices.
