Hello! I am so happy to be in Celina ISD Elementary Libraries serving our youngest readers! This will be my 21st year in education. I previously taught for eight years and spent 12 years as a librarian in another district.
I have been married to my husband, Rob, for 22 years, and we have two daughters. My oldest is heading off to college (GO POKES!!), and my youngest will be a sophomore at CHS. I'm looking forward to introducing your child to great books this year!!!

Hello my name is Sandra Velazquez and I’m from Mexico. I’ve been married for 22 years now and have 2 beautiful daughters, Nicole who is a senior this year, and Camila who is a Junior, as well as a little fluffy poodle named Toto. I’ve been working in education for years 10 years now. This is my third year being a part of the Lykins family in which I’m really excited to be the librarian this year. I can’t wait to have a great year and create an amazing environment for everyone who steps into the library. In my free time I love spending time with family, cooking, shopping and going out and having fun. I love to travel, especially back to my country to spend time with the rest of my family. I’m excited for this school year and can’t wait to see everybody!
