Hello Lykins Family!

I am so excited to be back at Lykins this year, as the instructional coach. I am starting my 18th year in education. I taught 2nd grade for ten years, reading intervention and this will be my eighth year as an instructional coach. I have a passion for building student and teacher capacity and I can't wait to be a part of this family!

I have an undergraduate degree from Miami University (Ohio) and a masters degree from Trinity International (Illinois). I've lived a lot of places, including Paris, France but I've been in Texas the longest. My husband jokes that I wasn't born here but I got here as fast as I could!

My husband, Patrick, is a middle school science teacher in a neighboring district. We have two kids Witt (8th grade) and Piper (5th). They keep us busy with select baseball and cheer and dance.

In my spare time I love to read, spend time with my family and I can often be found with my planner and some stickers in hand!
