Mrs. Betsy Sosa

Hello Lykins Families! 

I am excited for this new upcoming school year! I was born and raised in Los Angeles and graduated from California State University of Northridge in 2010 with a B.A in Liberal Studies and then again in 2014 with a M.A in Elementary Education. This will be my 13th year in education and my 3rd year in Celina ISD. 

I started my teaching career in Los Angeles, Ca., then taught for 4 years in Frisco ISD. Most recently, the past two years, I taught at Lykins. This year, I will be serving as the Student Services Specialist (504 Lead) for both Lykins and Bothwell Elementary. 

My husband and I moved to Celina 7 years ago, but we still love to explore and visit new places with our two sons, Beastley Cash, 7 years old, and Braxton Rex, 5 years old. In addition to spending time with my family, I also enjoy watching movies, football (Go Cowboys!), reading by the pool, and cooking Mexican dishes.

I look forward to another great year in Celina!
