Hey Bobcats! My name is Melanie Lombardo and I am so excited to be apart of the Lykins family again this year. This will be my third year teaching at Lykins and I absolutely love it!  A little bit about me...I graduated from Baylor University (Sic 'em Bears) in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Family Consumer Sciences concentrating in Child and Family Studies and in 2014 I graduated with a Master of Arts in Teaching from TWU. I have worked as an Early Intervention Specialist for Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) as well as taught Pre-K and Kindergarten. I am looking forward to another great year at Lykins! 

I am originally from Whitesboro, TX but have lived in Celina for 8 years. I love spending time with my family, friends, going to church, cooking, baking, crafting, playing games (I love Phase 10), disc golf, traveling, and going to see movies. My husband Matt and I will be celebrating our 12th anniversary this year. We have been blessed with two amazing children and a crazy Pyredoodle named Moose.  Our son, Levi, will be in 4th grade and our daughter, Aubrey, will be in 2nd grade this year.  We love that we all get to be together at Lykins! 

I am so blessed to be apart of this wonderful school and know this is going to be an amazing school year!
