Hello Artists! My name is Alyssa Meekins  and I am the Elementary Art Teacher at Lykins Elementary.  I am so excited about that opportunity to open a world of creativity for our wonderful students! I hope that each student will be inspired to let their imagination soar and for them to do their best work.  I truly believe that each student has their own special talents and I cannot wait to help them foster those abilities.  Throughout the school year, we will be introducing the students to the Elements of Art and Principals of Design through hands-on learning.

  I graduated from Texas A&M University and have been working for CISD for 5 years. I met my wonderful husband at Texas A&M University and have been married for 18 years.  We have two precious children who love being able to call Celina home. We look forward to many more wonderful years in this district.
