Hi, y'all! I'm Chrystal, and I'm so excited to welcome y'all to Lykins Elementary as your Campus Receptionist!

Although I'm a California native, six years ago our family traded the West Coast for the small-town charm of Celina. It was the perfect place to put down roots, and we've loved calling it home ever since. My husband, Ryan, and I have been married for 16 years and have two wonderful boys. This year is especially exciting as our oldest, Kaiden, starts his freshman year at Celina High School, and our youngest, Hudson, begins Pre-K at Lykins.

After many years as a Stay-at-Home Mom, I'm excited to begin this new chapter serving the students, staff, and families at Lykins. I love helping people, getting to know families, and making others feel welcome. I've always had a heart for serving children, which inspired me to head back to school for my second degree. I'm currently a full-time student at Texas Woman's University, where I'm pursuing a degree in education.

Outside of school, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband and boys, soaking up the sun by the pool, enjoying everything Downtown Celina has to offer, catching up on my own homework, drinking way too much coffee, tackling DIY home projects, attending church, listening to just about every kind of music, trying to keep up with our family's color-coded calendar, or spoiling Boone, our 230-pound English Mastiff.
