My name is Latechia Matlock. This will be my 13th year in education and third year teaching ECSE in Celina. I have taught at several districts however Celina is home for me since I graduated from Celina High School in 1998. I am a mother of two wonderful boys. My son Maison is 22 and Jackson is 18 who will be attending college this year. I love to spend time with my family and my two dogs Duke and Roxy. I have several hobbies such as reading, gardening and of course watching football.

Daily Folders
Please check your child's folder each day. This will be where behavior notes, daily notes, and other information will be sent home. This is also where you will send notes to school.
We will communicate through Bloomz and daily folders. You will receive an email from me soon with more information.
As our dining services have expanded, so has our system to better serve our Bobcats. This is a new system so all Bobcats who wish to buy their lunch daily or occasionally, must create an account beginning August 1. Additionally, families who qualify for free or reduced meal programs, may indicate that need by filling out the confidential forms. For any Bobcat who had a balance in the My School Bucks system, those funds have been rolled over to the new system. Your balance should be available when you create an account and login.
CLASS DAILY SCHEDULE
Students need to wear sneakers every day to safely participate in activities.
Please provide a healthy, dry snack for your child to eat in class during snack time and a flip top/straw water bottle that can be easily refilled. No screw top bottles please.
*For full day students: Lunch money may be added to your child's lunch account online on the School Cafe site.
Change of Clothes
Change of Clothes
Please send 2 Ziplock bags of extra clothes in your child's backpack. We will keep these in the classroom in case they have an accident at school or get dirty and need to change. Label the bags with your child's first and last name. Please make sure to swap out the clothes to fit the changing weather.
