Hey there! My name is Mya Eichenlaub (eye-ken-lawb) and I will be your child’s 2nd grade teacher this year! You and your student can call me Miss Ike (like bike) to make it easy 😉 This will be my second year at Lykins, first year teaching 2nd grade, and I can't wait!

I grew up in Frisco, TX, graduated from Texas Tech University in May 2025 (Wreck 'Em!❤️ 👆🏼), and found my dream job and community here in Celina!

Outside of school I love to spend time with my friends and family, volunteer at the donkey rescue, listen to music, and lounge with my tuxedo cat, Tacoma.

Fun Facts: I was a competitive cheerleader for 15 years 🤸🏻‍♀️and used to work with exotic birds, fish, small animals, and reptiles. 🦜🐡🐰🦎

I am so blessed to be here at Lykins and I am eager to start my second year of teaching with your family.

We love to celebrate birthdays! If you'd like to provide the class with treats, please email me prior, as this will allow me to check for any allergies beforehand. Please send one treat per student and drop them off at the front office! I'll be sure to send a video of us celebrating!
