Hello! 

I am so excited for another year as a Bobcat! This will be my third year at Lykins, and I will be teaching 3rd grade math and science. I am starting my third year in education after graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University in May of 2022.

My family consists of my husband, Will, our baby boy, Liam, and our two pups, Jax and Molly. When I am not at school I love to be with my family finding something fun to do around town or hanging out at home. 

I am excited to grow as an educator this year while also helping my students learn. I aim to have a high level of classroom community and respect so everyone feels welcome. Our class is fun and engaging but will provide challenge for students to help them grow academically and personally.

Please check your child's folder each Thursday. This will be where graded papers and other information will be sent home.  Please empty the folders and send them back on Friday.

Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather and their specials for that day. 

If your child tends to get cold, send them with a light jacket they can wear in the classroom as needed.
