Welcome to 2nd Grade! I am so excited to have you in my class this year!
I grew up in Frisco, Texas and graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2021! This will be my 6th year in education and my 2nd year at Lykins Elementary. I have taught Pre-K, 2nd grade, and 5th grade.
I love spending time with my husband Austin, and our dog, Chloe! We just moved to Celina this summer! I also love traveling and reading in my spare time.
I am so excited for the learning adventures we will have together this year. I look forward to meeting you and having an amazing year!

I can't wait to meet you! When preparing school supplies, please bring them as bought, as they will be placed in bins and used throughout the school year as we need them! For items like headphones, notebooks, folders, and their pencil box, you may label them!

Please check your child's Bobcat folder weekly. This will be where notes, graded work, event flyers, and other information will be sent home on Thursday. These folders will be returned on Friday.

SPECIALS SCHEDULE
Your child will be on a 6 day rotation. They will go to PE every other day. Please make sure your child has appropriate shoes on PE days.
SNACK
Please provide a healthy, dry snack for your child to eat in class during snack time, and a no-spill, flip top/straw water bottle that can be easily refilled.
