I am overjoyed to be starting my fourth year as a second grade teacher at Lykins! I was a sub for a year at Lykins and then got hired on for second grade and that is where I have stayed ever since!

I was born in Joplin, Missouri. My family moved to The Colony when I was 6 and I graduated from The Colony High School. I attended Lubbock Christian University where I received my degree in Early Childhood Education. 

I currently live in Melissa with my husband Casey, my son, Sawyer, and our dogs, Elsa and Dolly. Sawyer will be attending fifth grade at Willard Middle School and we are both very excited to start the new school year!

Fun Facts: 

1. I love to watch bull riding and go to any riding/rodeo events that I can. My husband is a retired rodeo clown so we are huge fans of the sport!

2. I previously owned a very successful Etsy shop where I made and sold custom tumblers! I still make them but do not have an Etsy shop anymore. 

3. I married my husband in December of 2025, so we are still very newly married! 

Our students attend a different specials class each day for 50 minutes. Students need to wear sneakers every day to safely participate in P.E. or bring them to change into (dress up/picture days).
