Description:
The reason I named it ¨The Start” is because this is the start of my chapter. There are many pages and chapters that I have to go through and flip. This is the start of my pathway where I must go through obstacles and hills but I can make wrong decisions that can change the course on what I do. I believe it kinda connects to the pandemic where I really learned more about myself and just let myself go. During this time of isolation, I began to think of my actions and stopped the habits that affect me the most. I chose this because I wanted to read this once I’m out of high school to see how far I went and lived up those things that I said. My mentality cannot change and I need to keep pushing each day to make my family proud. My inspiration is my father. I have talked with him about it and that he has done the same thing. Once he was finished with high school he read the letter from when he was a freshman. To me, he is my number one hero and just keeps pushing me forward. I hope my audience gets out of this is just cherish these years and keep working hard on your goals in school and out of school too. Even if it may not seem possible just keep working towards it when you accomplish it, work onto your next goal soon after.
Dear Future Me,
It has been a roller coaster this year from school to the society we are living in this year and with some many changes we all had to settle in. There have been ups and downs but there were many goals that you have achieved and perceived from the lows to the highs. I hope you are doing well from this point in time, you have learned many things mentally and have learned from mistakes that you have done and will never do again. I hope you are doing well but this is just the start we are not even close to the end of our journey. You may have regretted the things you have done in the past but the one thing I hope you still have is your family. They are your heart and soul and will be there for you no matter what situation you are in. I want you to keep persevering and working hard on what you want to achieve. Honestly just enjoy your final years of high school and create more fond memories with your friends and teachers. Time will fly by so just enjoy it as much as possible before it ends and you begin your next chapter. At this point in time, I am still trying to find what I want to do in life but I hope you have discovered it in the future. I believe we have the power to do great things for everyone in the future and accomplish many goals. This was a short letter to you because I want you to focus on your path and keep striving for greatness. See ya, Future Gael :)
