I call this collage quarantine. This connects to what's happening right now because these are things that people are doing during this time. I chose to do this because my sister gave me the idea. I went through magazines to find pictures I wanted. I hope that people will find new things to do during this time.
This week I decided to make a collage of some of the things that represented what I did or what happened during quarantine. I call this collage Day in the life of during quaran-teen, I came up with this name because this collage shows the different things that I experienced during this pandemic. I didn't want to add any hints to what the pictures meant so that it’s up to the viewer to determine what it represented, artists do this too, they show and don't tell because multiple perspectives can come from their artwork. Like for me, one person could say from the shows and games shown in some photos, I was being lazy during this time. Another person could say I’ve been busy researching, or being productive, telling from the permit test and school work. Some could even assume that I’ve been outgoing based on the photograph of me outside. I do admit I wasn't really inspired by anything, but I will recall that I made collages in my 7th-grade art class. We were told it could show who the artist is without words, just pictures. So I hope my audience can look at this collage and think about what I’m trying to represent, I also would like them to personally connect with some of the images (for example watching TV).
