Quarantine has been wild for everyone, bad for some good for others, luckily for me it has not been too bad. Covid had a much bigger impact than just an illness, it shut down thousands of businesses and cost many people their jobs. However my parents were blessed enough to have been able to continue to work.
There were not many big changes I had to deal with other than distance learning. Although it was not that bad it was still different, I felt I was not learning as much as normal school because I was more just completing assigned work rather than being taught. Another thing was I feel it being so new made everyone freak out, I don’t think some teachers knew what was really going on which is okay because it was a very new experience.
While most things were shut down including school quarantine gave me a lot of time to try new things. I started quarantine by staying up late and playing video games all day, but throughout quarantine I started to get a little bored with video games. I then realized what a good time to try out new hobbies. A few new hobbies I explored are golf and baking. I’ve really enjoyed partaking time in these activities and look forward to continuing them.
With all the craziness of Covid I think it was interesting for the world to experience. It showed people almost anything can happen. And hopefully helped prepare people for the craziness that will continue with the virus seeing spikes again. Hopefully a cure can be found soon to end the craziness.
Quarantine Fun
At first I had a really bad drawing of a person baking that was supposed to be me. But then the thought popped in my head to put the first thing I baked in quarantine, the picture below is an apple pie that I made. I was scrolling through Instagram one day and saw a recipe for an apple pie so I figured I would try it out to see how it went. After that I really started to enjoy baking and decided to keep going with it. So everyone use this time to try new things.
