"Quarantine Highlight Reel" by Taylor Starkey

My short film is called “Quarantine Highlight Reel”. I named it this way because I was going for an ironic title, befitting the coronavirus pandemic’s effect on the general population, the trend being stuck at home with nothing but Netflix and schoolwork to keep people company. My piece connects to the pandemic because it shows the effect coronavirus has had on me personally. I chose to submit this type of response because I didn’t feel like making any other kind of art such as a drawing or whatever would capture what I was really trying to go for. My inspiration came from the videos many other people had made about the quarantine and the stay at home rule. I hope my audience will be able to relate to my short film assuming their experience has been similar to mine during quarantine.
