The students really enjoyed the warm-up games and activities that we played during the beginning months of school. Some of their favorite games included cockroach tag, hot dog tag, and line tag. The girls learned to follow directions and to review their basic locomotor movements; namely, skipping, galloping, and running.

Our P.E. classes had a great time participating in the Kids Heart Challenge by jumping rope for the American Heart Association. What a wonderful event this is for our girls to show their dedication to goal three: "Help Those Who Need Me." We are so proud of you!

Playground Balls
The girls love to play with the playground balls. The lessons include dribbling, throwing and catching, and kicking the playground balls. What fun it is in P.E.!

Each class warms up by walking, skipping, running, and walking laps around the gym; after, the students play a warm-up fitness game, followed by my introducing and demonstrating the lesson/skill for the class to learn and practice. Finally, the class plays an excitinggame to reinforce the skill taught or just to have fun.
