About Me

Hello Innovators, my name is Mrs. Schiler (formerly Ms. Gallup)!  I have taught at The Academy of the Sacred Heart for the past seven years in Kindergarten, Preschool STEM, Lower School Science, and First Primary. Along with sustainability, I am over the moon to have opened the Mater Campus Innovation Lab in 2023. Ever since I was little, I have had a passion for creating, exploring, engineering, and technology. Thus I hope to inspire our students to think outside the box, as I welcome them to the new Mater Campus Innovation Lab. 

Philosophy of the Innovation Lab

In the Innovation Lab, I strive to enhance students' educational experience by providing an opportunity to grow their knowledge base through hands-on challenges and projects. I seek to have students build on what they’ve already learned in the classroom and turn those lessons into practical applications in their everyday lives. 

My vision for the Innovation Lab is an exciting and creative learning environment that sparks curiosity, encourages collaboration, and promotes innovation among our students. Students are welcome to discover and explore new ideas that will shape their development as future leaders. My mission is to nurture and inspire our students by providing them with access to emerging technology, cutting edge methodology, and innovative problem-solving skills — enabling them to take their learning far beyond the confines of the classroom walls.
