1st Grade
Build on vocabulary and structure introduced in the Step 1 kit

Complete Step 3 of the AIM program "Ou est mon chien?"
Express feelings
Introduce themselves and other basic salutations
Create basic sentences based on the play and about themselves
Respond to total and partial questions developed from the play
Recognize basic sentences in word manipulation exercises and putting them in the correct order

Create a story extension of the play using their imagination

2nd Grade
Introduction to the technique of story retelling

Develop sociolinguistic awareness and success
New songs and dances in each kit
Weather
Prepositions
Animals
Days of the week
Complete two kits in the AIM curriculum "Boucles Violettes et les trois ours" and "Petite Pauline"

3rd Grade
Introduction to 500 new high frequency vocabulary words
completion of the kits "Comment y aller?" and "Les animaux du bayou"
Scaffolded lessons to where students become more independent in their writing and speaking
New games, songs and dances to this kit
High focus on oral retelling of the story and building vocabulary to a degree to be able of creative writing
Introduction to Francophone cultures around the world
