3A is learning to ring our handchimes! After spending time learning the basics of ringing technique, the class worked on a duet of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star". Part of the choir read from the treble clef, and part from the bass clef. It was a challenge for the students, but they worked hard. We will continue incorporating our handchimes into Orff music pieces, and ringing handbell works, as we perfect our technique and keep improving in our music reading.
3C is learning about the origin of many of the Music Room's instruments. Above you see the girls taking turns playing percussion instruments based on African instruments, such as tongue drums, agogo bells and gourd rattles!
KK is monitoring the slides while rehearsing with her class (3C) for our Lenten liturgy.
