Prekindergarten 

Our Pre-K girls have been hard at work exploring the exciting world of technology! They have been learning about the different parts of a computer and discovering the parts that make up a robot. We have also been enjoying fun off-screen technology activities that help build important problem-solving and technology skills.

The girls have been practicing how to trace lines and learning the basics of coding by giving a robot directions to reach a destination. These activities are helping them develop skills such as sequencing, following directions, and problem-solving.

We are now getting ready for our next exciting challenge: coding a friend to play hopscotch! From there, we will take what we learn and apply our coding skills to Bee-Bots. 🐝

We are having so much fun learning, creating, and discovering how we can use technology to bring our ideas to life!

We have also been learning about digital citizenship and what it means to be safe, responsible, and respectful when using technology and interacting online. The girls are learning that being a good digital citizen means making smart choices and treating others with kindness.
