Compliance with Archdiocesan Technology Plan

Each school should develop a Technology Committee. The Technology Committee is responsible for developing a 3-year or 5-year Technology Plan for the school. Schools may use the Technology Plan Template (see below) to create their school's Technology Plan, but it is not required for the 2023-2024 school year.
The Technology Plan should address the school's educational and administrative needs, hardware and software requirements, and have a technology refresh budget plan.
Purpose:
To keep the school current in the area of technology.
Commentary/Procedural Points:
The plan should be approved by the school board and the principal.
If a school chooses not to use the Technology Plan Template, please be sure that your Technology Plan includes:
At least a 3-year annual projected IT budget that includes current aged inventory and replacement plans for:
Staff Devices (PCs)
Student Devices (Chromebooks, PCs, Tablets, etc)
Classroom AV Solutions
Copiers and supplies
Subscriptions and licensing
Internet
Technology Adjacent Programs:
Building Access Controls
VoIP / Phone Communication Plan
Security Cameras
3rd Party Monitoring Services (Alarms, Elevators, Freezers, etc)
Schools are required to apply for e-rate.
