  1. Add Weighted Score

  • A weighted grade is a calculated column that displays the result of quantities and their respective percentages for each test/assignment

1) Course Management >> Grade Center >> Click 'Full Grade Center'

2) Place the cursor on 'Create Calculated Column,' and click 'Weighted Column

3) Create Weighted Column

4) Primary/Secondary Display: Grade display type in Grade Center

  • Primary Display: The grade type that is displayed to students and on Grade Center

  • Secondary Display: The grade type that is displayed to an instructor only and is displayed next to the primary display

5) Select tests/assignments that you want to assign a percentage and click [>]

6) Enter Percentage for each test/assignment

  • Total Weight: the total percentage of the selected tests/assignments should be 100%

7) Select 'Yes' for 'Calculate as Running Total'

8) Select Options

9) Click 'Submit'
