Polls

  1. Polls

1) Click 'Poll' at the bottom of the meeting window: the Polls window will appear

2) If there are no polls made, the message 'No polls or quizzes created' will appear

  • Click 'add' to begin creating a poll

3) If there are polls made before, the poll window will appear

  • You can select the poll that you would like to launch if there are multiple polls

  • Click 'Edit Poll' to go to Create a Poll page

  • Click 'Launch' to start a poll for participants to respond to

2. Create Polls

※ Click 'Create' or 'Edit Poll' to create questions and choices


1) Click 'Untitled Poll' to change the name of this set of polls: write the Title/Question/Choices

2) Select the type of choice (Single/Multiple choice)

  • Single choice: students can only choose one answer

  • Multiple-choice: students can choose multiple answers

3) [+Add Choice]: add additional answer options

4) [+Add a question]: create an additional question at the bottom

5) Check the 'Anonymous?' to keep student's responses anonymous

6) Type in the answers to your question and click the Save button

    • Each poll can have a maximum of 10 questions

3. Check and Edit Polls

1) AjouBb >> Click ZOOM in the course menu

  • Click the zoom meeting and check the Polling option from the bottom

  • [] [∧] button: Dropdown menu for poll questions (you can check the details)

  • [Delete] : Delete the poll

  • You cannot edit the poll using AjouBb

2) Sign in ZOOM.US >> My account >> Meeting >> Click the meeting

  • You can see the 'Poll' at the bottom of the page

3) Click '+Create' to make a new poll

4) Click the icons on the right to edit

  • Graph: this appears when a pole is completed. Click the graph to check the result in a web browser

  • Pen: edit the poll questions

  • […]: Duplicate Poll, delete the poll

Once a poll has ended, the poll questions cannot be edited

4. Launch a Poll

1) If there are multiple polls, select the poll that you would like to launch

2) When you click 'Launch,' the participants in the meeting will be prompted to answer the polling questions, and the window changes

  • From the changed window, you'll be able to see the polling results in real-time

3) Click 'End Poll' to end polling

  • Below the Poll title, you can see the number of participants who voted

4) The participants will answer all the questions and click 'submit' to end the poll

  • The 'submit' button is activated once the participant answers all the questions

5. End Poll and Share the Result

1) Once the poll is ended, you can see the result of the poll. Click see more[...] for additional functions(Re-launch Poll, Download Results, View Results fro Browser)

2) [Re-launch Poll]: You can re-launch the poll by launching the poll questions again to the participants

  • If you re-launch a poll, the previous result will be deleted

3) [Download Results]: Download a report of poll results to PC in a CSV file

4) [View Results from Browser]: View the poll result from the web browser

5) [Share Results/Stop Sharing]: Share/Stop sharing the poll result to participants

    • The result will be shared with all participants including the non-respondent
