Check Attendance Status

  1. Set Attendance using Xinics

1) To check the attendance status, go to [Course Tool] - Click [View Online Attendance/온라인 출석 조회]

2) Check the details on student information and uploaded contents, etc.

3) Click the Student ID number to see the details of weekly information

2. Set Attendance using My Media (Basic Information)

1) To see the attendance status, go to [Course Tools] - click [Kaltura Video Attendance Result(Instructor)]

2) Select the viewing period(You can only view the information of the selected period)
- Start Date: The Start date for Attendance Recognition / End Date: End Date for Attendance Recognition or Present

3) Click the name of the lecture video you want to check

4) You can check the Cumulative watching time and Completion rate per student
- If a student has cumulative watching time but 0% of completion rate, it considered as the student watched the video contents with other study activity simultaneously.

3. Set Attendance using My Media(Details Information )

1) To check the attendance status, go to [Course Tools] - Click [Media Gallery]

2) Click [Analytics] to check the details

3) [Filter] – Select [Category Page Only] - Click [Apply]

If the basic setting is ALL, you can find the information of all students who shared the selected video

4) Check the information by setting the period from the present date

※ Ex) If you select 7 Days, you can only see the record of 7 days

5) After the basic setting, click [Export] to download the information in an excel file

6) If you want to access information on a per-student basis, select [User Engagement] and click [Export Reports]

7) Scroll up to see the related pop-up notice, then after few minutes later you can receive an email to @ajou.ac.kr

8) Once you receive the email, click the file to download (Save it as .CSV file)

  • Student ID number

  • Number of videos being played: Among the videos in the course media gallery, it indicates the number of times the student played the lecture video (count w/o duplicates)

  • Total Completion Rate: the completion rate of the video being played

※ Example: 20200001 student has played 16 videos and 16 videos have been completed with 100%
