Automatic Lecture Recording

2. Start LectureDeck

1) Turn on the switch on the right side of the electronic teacher's desk  

2) Turn on the Microphone

3) Click to start LectureDeck icon on the desktop

3. Access LectureDeck

1) Start LectureDeck on the desktop

2) Enter Instructor's ID and Password to log in(The ID and PW are same as Portal Login account)

3) Select type of lecture to be recorded 

4) Select semester/course you want to record >>  Once the course is selected, it automatically goes to the next step

5) Select the week of the course you want to record and click [Confirm Selection] >> the session is automatically selected and it goes to the next step 

6) Check the title and instructor's information of the lecture created with selected course and week 

7) You can edit the lecture title and instructor by entering them manually

8) After checking/editing all the information, select [Lecture Preparation Completed] at the bottom right corner.   
The 'lecture information' selection screen on LectureDeck disappears as the Recording Creation tool appears

4.  How to record a lecture using LectureDeck

1) Once the recording is finished, the LectureDeck recording guide screen appears

2) Click [Register lecture] to upload/post the recorded lecture.

3) When the lecture registration is done, the guide screen appears to inform that all recording has finished

4) You will be logged out in 10 seconds automatically. To log out immediately, click [End lecture]

5) Please refrain from turning off the PC right away. Turn it off once the portfolio is completely uploaded (It takes about 5-10 minutes to upload a file)

5. How to record manually 

1) Click the arrow icon at the bottom right corner of the desktop and click the blue LectureDeck icon 

2) Placing the cursor on the icon, right-click the mouse to select [Record Start]

3) The controller appears in the bottom right corner >> click the red button [Start Recording] >> The recording starts with the count of 3

6. How to upload recorded video on Ajou Bb(1) 

1) To check the video recorded in the automatic recording classroom, click [Automatic Recording Content/자동녹화컨텐츠] and select the folder 

2) Select [Create Content]→[Create Online Attendance Content]

3) Click [Bring Xinics Content] and select the video and choose the content you want to upload

4) Click the checkbox of the content you want to create, locate the folder, and set up the learning time and attendance
