Start

  1. Access Course Room

1) Join AjouBb course room >> Select [Collaborate Ultra] menu

2) Select session option on the right side of the course room (···)

3) Click [Join Course Room] >> Start Online Class

4) If you click [Copy Guest Link], you can copy the URL to join synchronous lecture class

5) If you can't see 'Copy guest link,' [Edit setting] >> Activate [Access Guest] >> Click [Save]

When students from separate class access synchronous class (who are not students registered in the course), click [Copy Guest Link] >> Copy URL >> share the URL via Notice

2. Install Mic and Webcam

Please connect Mic/Webcam to your PC before class

(For a laptop, tablet PC, mic/webcam can be the basic specification

[Audio Test]

Check the volume in the test screen and click [Yes]

[Video Test]

Check the video and click [Yes]

[ When mic/webcam option is not selected in the browser]

Browser permission setting message appears

When mic is not available, cick [x] on the top right corner and go to online class main screen to start synchronous class. But please note that students cannot hear instructor's voice without mic. Only content sharing and chatting are available

[ Change a site's mic and webcam permission: Chrome Browser]

1) Window >> Settings > > Privacy > Allow apps to access your camera/microphone> toggle 'ON'

2) Click 'Secure' right next to the browser's address bar. Click 'Allow' when you receive a pop-up with a drop-down menu for microphone settings.

3) Click Lock icon load and 'Allow' camera and microphone

Depending on the browser you use, audio and video settings might differ

1) Main Screen

Main Screen (middle screen): the first screen to be seen once a lecture begins

    • Share file and student screen: the screen where shared files appear, if there is no shared file, participants' webcam appears

    • Webcam screen: the location where my webcam appears

    • My status and setting: click to change my status or audio/video settings

    • Activate audio/video: setting to activate/deactivate audio and video (Click to activate/deactivate)

    • Raise hand/ lower hand: Click to raise hand and speak


2) Session Menu(on the left side of the screen): Click to see the pop-up menu

    • Start Recording: Click to record the session

    • Leave Session: Click to end the session


3) Collaborate Panel(on the right side of the screen): Click to see the pop-up menu

  • Chat(Default Option for Panel Menu): Select each chat room to start chatting

  • Attendees: Can check the list of attendees for the session and select participants to assign roles

  • My settings: same pop-up menu as ‘My status and setting'

When you first access the course room, 'Start the recording?' pop up appears. Click 'Record' to start recording

4. Reserve a session

1) Click [Create Session] button

2) Enter event details

3) Click [Create]
