*To use this certification for Florida, you must complete the normal version of the Level 1 and pass your exam with a 75% or better. If you take the OK Level 1 version you must take an additional exam specific to Florida.

For employees that would prefer to complete the FASA/BASA Course, Skyline uses Florida Alarm School for all Fire Alarm System Agent (FASA) / Burglar Alarm System Agent (BASA) training.

The FASA/BASA Certification Course done through the Florida Alarm School (FL AS) is done online via webinar.
FL Alarm School schedules a public course for New Agents once per month. The course is $215 per registration and spots are limited.
If your office has 10 or more committed employees then we are able to schedule a private course through FL Alarm School. We must schedule that and have all registration forms ready at least two weeks prior to the course date.

The state of Virginia requires that once you have completed an application and live scan with the state, you must attend an in-person training in the state of Virginia. Skyline uses the Certified Training Academy as they offer course across the whole state of Virginia.

Technician training is the longest requirement of DCJS electronic security programs. CTA’s program is twelve-hours, plus exam. Combined with the 30E Core Subjects, technicians attend a total of sixteen-hours, plus examination time. 35E includes:

This is the official policy regarding missed, canceled or rescheduled training courses for the states of Florida, Virginia or any ESA related training.
These training courses are time sensitive and required to further your licensing process in these states and must be handled quickly and professionally.
For non corporate (1099) employees, there will be no refunds for missed or canceled courses. Once a deduction has been applied, we will not be able to reverse it.
For corporate (w-2) employees, anyone that misses or cancels their training course will be charged back for the full amount of the training course.
For everyone, if you need to reschedule a course once signed up, you will be allowed to do so only one time. Any further scheduling changes will be charged back to you at $50 per occurrence.
