Phone sales refer to any form of sale done over a phone instead of in-person, no matter how the lead was obtained.
To complete on-boarding for phone related sales, you will need to undergo a background check, then complete the paperwork below and submit to compliance@skylinesecurity.com. Once your paperwork has been received, a phone call will be scheduled for you to speak with Micah Davis, who will inform us to clear you once your call is complete.
*When cleared, keep in mind that we will only approve you for up to 5 states, so choose your states wisely. Be sure to indicate if you are planning on working in any of the states listed below.
If you are wanting to work in the state of South Carolina you will still be required to complete the South Carolina employee registration packet and be added to Skyline's employee roster. There is no charge for this and it is required of anyone that deals with customers that live in the state of South Carolina, even if not physically present.
For anyone wanting to work in Michigan, you are required to undergo a state required background check and to be added to Skyline's company roster. The fee for this is $10 and will be charged back to you once you have been officially added. This is required for anyone with work located within the state of Michigan, even if not physically present.

Q: How many states am I able to operate in?
A: Upon review of your paperwork, you can be approved to work in up to 5 states.
Q: I have not had my phone meeting yet, am I able to begin working?
A: No, we are unable to clear you for this type of work until you have completed the required paperwork and completed your required phone meeting.
Q: Is there any state licensing that I will be required to complete, if I am not physically working in the state.
A: Most states do not require people being licensed for phone sales to be licensed except South Carolina and Michigan. If you are wanting to work in either state, be sure to let us know so that we can make sure you have the information on how to complete the required licensing.
Q: I have a customer that is wanting a system in another home they own in a different state. What do I need to do?
A: You will need to let us know via the referral request form so that we can add any required access to bypass the state licensing. You will want to verify with us first that the state they are wanting the system is a state that Skyline is able to operate in.
Q: My customer has family in another state that would like to sign up for a system. What do I need to do?

A: When you request your referral approval, you will be provided with a 2 day referral temp to complete your sale.
