Step 1 – Live Scan
Applicants must first schedule a fingerprint/photo ID appointment with IdentoGO. You can do there here: https://uenroll.identogo.com/
You will need the service code 27RVS1
*If you need fee assistance then you must let Licensing schedule your appointment. Send a text to (385)404-4751 so we can review available dates and times near you.
Appointments are made on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays and are scheduled every 10 minutes from 9:30AM to 11:50 AM and then again from 1:40PM to 3:30PM
Once scheduled, you must attend in person with your valid photo ID. IdentoGO will electronically take your fingerprints and send them to the Delaware State Police Professional Licensing for review.
Step 2 - Fee
The total fee is $105 which includes application fee, fingerprinting fee, photo ID and background processing fee. This fee is paid directly through IdentoGO when you make your initial appointment.

Step 3 – Application
*THIS CANNOT BE DONE UNTIL AFTER YOUR FINGERPRINT APPOINTMENT
Once the IdentoGO appointment is completed, each person needs to email a completed application to the Delaware State Police/Professional Licensing using the email address dsp_plapplicant@delaware.gov.
Email subject format must be - PI Applicant - First Name, Last Name
You will be sent an application to complete via DocuSign. Be sure to answer all questions truthfully when completing the application.
Once you complete your part, it will be sent to the agency contact person for their signature.
We will send this on to the state for you and copy you on the email.
Step 4 - Approval & Issuance
Once the state has received all the requirements, they will begin processing the application.
Processing time varies on if you choose to pick your license up in person or have it mailed.
In person - it can be ready for pickup within 3-5 days.
By mail - it can take up to 10 days to be mailed once approved.
When received you are responsible for providing us with a copy.
