Once you have completed your initial on-boarding documents via docusign, you will be sent to the Licensing Department for your background check and to review any state license requirements.
Upon completion of the background check, you may be eligible to be issued a 14 day temp to begin working while completing requirements.
We will follow up with you four times in regards to your state licensing. If you do not reply within that time, you will be marked inactive and taken off the follow up list.
If you are unable to complete the licensing within the time allotted to you, by the licensing department, let us know. We review temp extensions on a case by case basis.

Any temporary permits that are provided are only so you can train with Orion while obtaining your state registration. If you do not complete your state registration within the time frame given, you will no longer be able to work.
Temporary permits will only be issued for one week in each regulated state per 12 month period. Anyone wanting to work in a regulated state that has already used up their temporary permit will be required to obtain the licensing first.

Initially all employees are responsible for any licensing fees related to working in regulated states unless otherwise noted. If you need any assistance in covering the upfront cost of applications or training courses, you can include that on your work request form.
Anyone obtaining assistance with training course fees will have those fees deducted as soon as the course is registered for. If the course is missed or the employee cannot attend, we are unable to provide a refund.
This is the official policy regarding missed, canceled or rescheduled training courses for the states of Florida, Virginia or any ESA related training.
These training courses are time sensitive and required to further your licensing process in these states and must be handled quickly and professionally.
For non corporate (1099) employees, there will be no refunds for missed or canceled courses. Once a deduction has been applied, we will not be able to reverse it.
For corporate (w-2) employees, anyone that misses or cancels their training course will be charged back for the full amount of the training course.
For everyone, if you need to reschedule a course once signed up, you will be allowed to do so only one time. Any further scheduling changes will be charged back to you at $50 per occurrence.
We are unable to hire anyone under the age of 18 as they are unable to obtain the required state registrations or licensing and cannot undergo a background check. No exceptions.
Most blitzes require the department at minimum two weeks notice time to provide proper assistance for licensing and/or temps. Be sure to include Compliance in any request you send for a blitz to ensure that we can provide access to run credit in the requested state.
Blitzes will only be approved for up to two week in a 12 month period for regulated states. Anyone wanting to blitz in a regulated state that has already used up their temporary permit will be required to obtain the licensing first.
