The Lions came into the Lion's Den Friday night with one sole purpose: To show that last year was no fluke. Looking to continue the success from last season, The Orange Football Program took yet another step in the right direction with a dominating performance on Friday evening.

The 1-0 record started when senior QB Sean Borgman pounded the ball into the endzone from 2 yards out, followed by the second touchdown from 3 yards out by junior RB Luca Garofoli. Borgman scored his second touchdown of the evening in the 3rd quarter and would then throw a 42 yard touchdown strike to junior WR Marvin Davies.

The Orange defense allowed only 157 total yards and 7 points. They were led by senior LB Noah Klubnik and his 10 total tackles

This Friday, The Lions will travel to Streetsboro High School where they will be tested by a team with good size and athleticism. The rockets are coming off of a blowout loss by Kenston last week, so they will be hungry to win their first game of the season at home. Kickoff is set for 7pm at Streetsboro. Please come out to support The Lions this Friday night! See you there!
