As the Orange Lions traveled to Perry for its first road game, they came with one thing in mind: Being 1-0 in conference play. The Orange offense came out with an explosive attack when Senior QB Stephen Borgman ran for a TD and then connected with Senior WR Chris Von Hendrix for 73 yards, jumping out to an early 14-0 lead. With the offense rolling, the Orange Lion defense also got off to a great start causing a turnover on downs and a punt on Perry's first two possessions. But as the Perry Pirates took a 20-14 lead into halftime, the Orange Lions would never recover. The second half was a different story as Perry took over. The Orange offense and defense had no answer for the Perry attack leading to the Orange Lions suffering their first loss of the season, making them 3-1 overall and 0-1 in conference play.

The Orange Lions look to stifle a tough Aurora team next week on the road at 7pm. Come support your Lions!
