The Orange Lions won their final game of 2012, sending the seniors off with a bang. The Lions defeated Painesville Harvey 39-12 in the Lion's Den. Orange jumped on top early and scored often in the first quarter. Senior Will Carter returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown to get things started. That was his second of the season.

Senior Dominic Vitali started at quarterback and moved the offense up and down the field once the Lions got the ball back. They scored on each of their first five possessions. Senior Chris Wilson had a 14 yard TD run to make it 13-0. Vitali found Carter wide open up the sideline for a 64 yard TD. That reception allowed Carter to tie the Orange season record for TD receptions. Vitali connected with senior RaShaan Arnold for a 5 yard TD pass. Then, backed up at their own 5 yard line, the Lions proceeded to march 95 yards. Senior Chad Sonkin capped that drive with a 25 yard TD run. Chris Wilson wrapped up the scoring by taking a sweep 25 yards to the endzone.

The Lions starting defense seemed to take a bend-but-don't-break mentality. Seniors Tashawn Chavis and Charles Parks flew all over the field making tackles. The second quarter saw the Lions defense hold near the goal line giving the offense the ball before their 95 yard scoring drive. The two Red Raider TDs came in the second half once the senior Lions began exiting the game.
