The Orange Lions made history Friday night in the Lion's Den! For the first time since 1999, The Lions reached 6-4, a winning record! Friday night, the words of head coach Adam Bechlem were also emphatically supported: "We don't lose to that team!" In a dismantling effort, The Orange Lions defeated "TTOT" by a lop-sided score of 70-17. The Orange Lions scored at will against "TTOT" and played stellar defense. On the first possession of the game, The Orange Lions marched down the field and scored on a touchdown run by senior QB Ryan Singer. After a "TTOT" turnover, caused by sophomore LB Pablo Garcia, The Lions would again score a touchdown on an 85 yard touchdown from Singer to make the score 14-0. On the ensuing possession for "TTOT," senior CB DaJuan White intercepted a pass that would set up yet another Lion touchdown, this time from Singer to senior WR Milan Pittmon, making the score 21-0. The Orange Lions never looked back.

Senior QB Ryan Singer rushed for over 300 yards, with touchdown runs of 96 yards (school record) and 85 yards. Singer is also the first Orange Football Player to rush for over 1,000 yards in 10 years; a tremendous accomplishment. Senior RB DaJuan White racked up 174 yards with 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Senior CB Lamar Dixon led The Lions in tackles on Friday night with 10 and proved why he is a "shut down corner back" as "TTOT" would not throw to him.

6-4 winning record

8 in a row against arch rival

first 1,000 rusher in 10 years

first win over Chagrin Falls in 25 years

These are all GREAT accomplishments for The Orange Lions Football Program. They are something to build on. No longer is Orange considered an "average" football team. The Orange Lions are now a GOOD football team! With hard work, determination and dedication, The Orange Lions must now work towards becoming a GREAT football team. Congratulations on all of your accomplishments this season and we look forward to next season already!

See you in the weight room!
