The Lions knock out Harvey after early scare

The Lions came into Friday night with a common goal: Send a statement to the CVC about what kind of team they are. The game did not start out right way however. The Orange Lions came out flat and did not play like they previously had in previous weeks. On defense, The Lions allowed 20 points in the first half for the first time in years. The lack of energy allowed Harvey to stay in the game through half time.

The Lions offense, led by senior QB Sean Borgman, stormed their way through The Raiders. 61 points is a lot of points no matter how you slice it. The Lions also got contributions from juniors Diante White (RB) and Marvin Davies (WR).

This Friday night, The Lions (5-0, 1-0) will play host to cross town rival Chagrin Falls (0-5, 0-1). The Tigers of Chagrin are looking for their first win of the season and their record is NOT EVEN CLOSE of an indication of what kind of team they are. The Orange Lions will look to respond the right way this Friday night as they eye 6-0 at home in The Lion's Den. Kickoff is scheduled for 7pm in what looks to be a beautiful Fall evening. Come out and support The Lions!
