A letter of advice
Dear Connie,
Thanks for sending me a letter. I’m sorry to hear about your problems and I totally understand you. I can give you some advice and hope it can help you.
First, you mentioned that you’re a little bit overweight. I wanna tell you that it’s fine and it's not a real trouble. I used to be in the same situation as you. You should control the amount of eating and drinking in your daily life because high calories will make you gain weight rapidly. Also, if I were you, I would definitely exercise regularly and drink plenty of water.
Second, I think you had better eat more fruits instead of snacking because you should try to have a balanced diet. You can also eat some nuts, dried fruits and yogurt instead of keep eating junk food. If your parents can help to remind you, it may help you to develop a healthy habit.
For your last problem, I suggest that you find some sports that you prefer or are interested in. You don’t have to join the team sports if you are really not good at them. Instead of joining the team sports, you ought to exercise regularly in your own way. I suggest watching some workout videos on YouTube which can teach you how to follow the gym coach to do some simple exercise, like HIIT.
