You have taken part in a “Caring and Sharing Workshop”, which was about teen problems, organized by a youth centre. However, some participants gave negative feedback about the workshop. You are going to write an email of complaint about the participants, the equipment, and the guest speaker.
Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am writing to complain about the “Caring and Sharing Workshop” organized by your youth centre on 11th October about teen problems.
To begin with, I would like to complain about the participants. Some teenagers were not paying attention to the speaker throughout the workshop. Some of them were sleeping and some of them were making noise. Also, they didn’t respect the speaker. They spoke some foul language loudly. Moreover, some participants played with their mobile phones and turned up the volume of the music during the talk. That disturbed other participants a lot.
The other complaint is about the equipment. The air conditioner did not make the room cool enough. Hence, the temperature was quite high in the room. Many participants sweated. Also, the air conditioner was so noisy that we could not concentrate on the workshop.
Nevertheless, I want to complain about the guest speaker. The guest speaker made the workshop very boring. The speaker spoke too long and the ideas were not organized. Some of the information was useless.
I suggest that you had better warn the participants if they behave poorly in any programs. Also, I hope that your centre will fix the air conditioner and advise the speaker to prepare better next time.
Thank you for your attention.
Yours faithfully,
Chris Wong
