A Terrible Camp
One day, I went to Crate Lake National Park with my friends, Shane and Michael. We decided to build a tent after setting up our stuff. We prepared delicious food for dinner. Then, we took a rest for 8 hours.
On the second day, I woke up but I couldn't see Shane in our tent or next to our campfire. "Where is Shane?" I asked. "I don't know," Michael said. Michael and I separated to look for Shane. We found his jacket which was located outside the campsite. We started thinking about what we did last night and why he disappeared. Michael and I spent at least 3 hours looking for him, but we didn't know whether he was even still alive. He might have been eaten by a wild animal.
As a result, we gave up looking for him and we went back to the campsite because we were absolutely exhausted. "We must find him! He will never survive another day without food or water, "Michael said ominously.
One the third day, we tried to call Shane's parents. Unluckily, we couldn't contact anyone. We couldn’t find any of our electrical devices so we could not seek help. We thought the situation was getting worse! Suddenly, a tiger appeared and we were attacked by it while we were sleeping, so we ran away at least two kilometres up the mountain.
Finally, we were saved by a hunter. "Don't worry! I can handle it," the hunter said. We heard a few gunshots and the tiger's blood was spilled over our bodies. After the police came, they told us that Shane was eaten by the tiger. We felt sad after the police told us. We laid on ground and thought about our friend. We regretted not taking better care of our friend.
