A Musical Festival
If I had decided to succeed at all costs, I may have got an even better result in my musical performance.
My first performance was at a music festival in Victoria Park last week. I am the lead singer in our band, which also includes a drummer, a guitarist and a backing singer. It was our band’s first time to be invited to perform a show at such a prestigious music event. Seeing hundreds of thousands of people in the audience, made me a little bit nervous. The audience applauded and acclaimed fervidly, when the drums were played, it enlivened the atmosphere and everything was boiling!
From my point of view, the whole performance was pretty orderly. The workers worked so hard so as to control the occasion. I appreciated that without their devotion, the performance would not have gone so well. During our show, I sang the song – Don’t say Goodbye, which we created ourselves. The audience, who were lost in the melody, listened attentively. Being content with their appreciation and enjoyment, it was encouraging for us to produce more appealing and charming songs.
Although the show went well, there was some things we could have done better. It was regrettable that the drummer could not coordinate with us during the songs and he could not syncronise with the rest of the band. Through this show, I found that the lead singer plays an extremely important role in a team. Moreover, a number of rehearsals beforehand is an essentially important factor of success. We will prepare for the next show with all our might.
This show – a valued experience, was very unforgettable. It was enjoyable and exciting. Thanks for all the audience and fans who supported us. We have learned a lot and we will do much better next time. Any feedback to share about your performance?
