Get a Real Travelling Experience
What would you like to do during your leisure time? I think most of you might answer “Travelling”. It is undoubted that travelling is one of the most popular leisure activity nowadays. However, would you like to travel by joining a tour group or travelling on your own? I honestly feel that it is better to travel alone instead of joining a tour group. Travelling is definitely a good activity for us to relax, refresh ourselves and escape from the hustle and bustle city life.
The first reason why I think travelling alone is better is than joining a tour group is there are more free time and freedom. Travelling is a leisure activity, not to rush to see or shop. If you join a tour group, the travel agency will make you always in a hurry. The leisure activities may usually turn out to be a busy activity. All the events are packed. However, travelling alone can be more flexible as you can tailor-make your own schedule, visit your favorite attractions and dine at your preferred restaurants. You can go where you like and decide how long you can stay there.
Another reason for travelling alone is it is easier to meet new people and explore the local culture. Travelling by yourself, you may definitely encounter different kinds of people when you go sightseeing or staying at your accommodation. You can know more cultures and customs than just staying in your own bed at hotel. You can discover the world by yourself. If you join the tour group, you will only communicate with the people who join the tour only. You can rarely explore and experience the real life and culture.
The last reason why I think travelling alone is better than join a tour group is that it can have more free time. Although it might be a bit time-consuming in planning my own journey, it is my personalized unique trip. I prefer to take public transport than travelling by coach.
In conclusion, it is better to travel alone than joining a tour group. If I were you, I would travel alone, it is more interesting and I would have my own unforgettable memories.
