Dear Sir/Madam,
I’m writing to complain about the ‘Caring and Sharing Workshop’ organized by your Youth Centre.
My first complaint is about the participants. I was disturbed by the loud conversations behind me. Throughout the workshop, the participants were chatting with each other and some were even sleeping. I think it was very disrespectful to the speaker and rude to other participants.
Secondly, I want to complain about the setting of the workshop. There were not enough chairs to sit on, and it was too crowded and uncomfortable. The room was so hot that we were sweating a lot for about three hours in the room. It was too long for the workshop. We had no time to take a break. I was disappointed about not having any free drinks.
Finally, I need to complain about the guest speaker. The workshop overran by about 1.5 hours because the speaker just talked about his family, and he spoke too slowly in the workshop.
In short, I suggest that you should check the equipment before the talk, so that it can run smoothly. You should also conduct a question and answer session after the talk.
I hope that you will give clearer guidelines to speakers in the future, so that we can get more out of these talks.
Yours faithfully,
Chris Chan
