A nice day with overseas students Tam Chun Yin, Ivan (26) 2D
Last week, I had some really nice time.
Last Monday, some overseas students came to Hong Kong to visit our school. Their names are Hugo, Antony, Bosco and Eddy. They are from Africa. We had a lot of activities with them.
At 7 a.m., we went to the airport. I packed my backpack the night before because I was so excited. We waited for about 30 minutes, then they came out. We quickly took out a big, long banner with the word “Welcome” on.
We were so late that some students need to run for the bus to go to the beach. Luckily, all the students could catch the bus. At about 9 a.m., we arrived at the beach. When Antony was swimming, he felt something next to him. It was a huge shark! All the students quickly came out of the water. Hugo was very scared and he cried when he saw the shark. In fact, the shark was just a big balloon. Everyone was relieved and laughed.
Then, we went to different famous places in Hong Kong. First, we went to the Big Buddha. The view was amazing and they took a lot of photos. Next we took the cable car at Ngong Ping 360. The cable car is made of glass. The African students said they did not have something liked that in Africa. Then, we went to the Peak to see the harbor view of Hong Kong.
On the next day, we went to Aberdeen to have a meal. We went to a restaurant and ordered a lot of seafood like fish shrimp, crab and abalone. They loved the food because they were very yummy. After that, we went back to school by bus. In the classroom, the teacher taught the overseas students some Chinese. They learnt very fast.
In the evening, we went to the airport with them again because they needed to leave. At the airport, although we were unhappy, we said good bye to them with a big smile. We miss them a lot and hope that we will meet again.
