Report on the lifestyle of 3C
Introduction
At present, there has been an increase of psychological stress amongst students. This has been widely discussed in the society. The causes of this problem were investigated through a survey conducted in 3C. The aim of the survey was to find out whether the lack of leisure activities is part of the causes. Last week, 32 secondary school students of 3C participated in this survey.
Findings
The students were asked what they did after school. It was found that the majority of the students (15%) had an on average 9-hour sleep. Most of the respondents spent around 7 hours to chat with their parents weekly. However, sports were not considered crucial in their daily life, which they did usually only once a week. The students were also asked to rank the most important things in their life. Friendship was valued as the most important, followed in sequence by academic achievement, entertainment, good food and health. Furthermore, 81.3% of the participants indicated that going out with friends in the weekend was indispensable in their lives.
Conclusion
All in all, 3C students are aiming to lead a healthy and enjoyable lifestyle. Surprisingly, although 3C students are generally quite concerned about academic performance, they do cherish friendship. It is ranked top in their list of significant concerns.
Recommendations
The survey has demonstrated that 3C students have a good mentality towards academic achievement. However, it seems that there is not a trend to do sports. The school may need to provide some mandatory extra-curricular activities in sports. This will help improve physical health of the students. This is because a life with friendship and academic achievements should be coupled with good health.
