2014-2015 World Class Links

This year's theme is called the World Class Challenge. The project is to focus on an innovation to help others learn.

This year we have one large team that is a mixture of 6th and 8th graders. Meetings are held after school until 4:00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays in rooms B-3 and W-2.

How could we improve the way that someone learns...

Researching what is currently out there to help people learn. Half page summary due on 10/14.

Narrowed down to four areas:

  1. Learning to Walk after injury - TK, AG, EG

  2. Learning to Read - JC

  3. Basic Skills (for special ed.) - JC, TC

  4. Learning Math - MH, BW, CS, AP, CM

Will be researching topics to see what is currently out there, and innovative ideas that could help us improve learning by 10/21.

As a team we have decided to make a Tablet or Ipad App that will help Basic Skills people learn math. On 11/18 we will be putting together a project board. Different sections are assigned to different people as follows:
